OK, I got some time on my hands this A.M., so I took a peak at some hotel/casino's to see what the going rates are for the 4th of July weekend (2 nites) arriving Friday and beparting on the 4th, Sunday.
I found some interesting results. First, Prices are not that high for that weekend, and thier is plenty of rooms.
My first comparison is those lower properties on the strip....Circus Circus, Riviera, Sahara, & Stardust. From low to high price, how would you arrange these hotels????
Here is how they came in... Riviera, $162 Sahara, $179 Stardust, $185 Circus Circus, $244
Don't know about you, but Circus Circus isn't a $122 a night hotel???
Now, just for fun, lets take this same question downtown. I'll list the correct order after a few members post what you think would be the correct order, lowest to highest.
Binions, El Cortez, Four Queens, Fremont, Golden Gate, Las Vegas Club, Plaza.
Here's a few suprises I found.... Sams Town $119, what a bargin!!!! Bourbon St $203, yikes...for what? Ballys $283, respectful Wild Wild West $83, I'd never stay here, but folks, that's $41.50 a night for a holiday weekend in Vegas, no gambling obligation, taxes included!
I'm looking forward to some replies....
