I've never been a big fan of wax museums but after visiting this brand new attraction last week at The Venetian, I can't say that anymore.
The Madame Tussaud's sculptors have painstakingly recreated the faces and figures of celebrities from exact measurements taken during their personal sittings, or modeled following a meticulous study of archival material.
Not only to many of the celebrities look real, What makes the "celebrity encounter" different from other wax museums is the fact that all guests are given the opportunity to take photos with the celebrities, touch them, shake hands, anything as long as you don't get too crazy.
Make sure to bring a camera or you can purchase one when you arrive. One of the helpful MT employees will be happy to take a picture for you if requested. Just don't be afraid to look a little goofy in front of the other patrons, then you'll be able to tell your family & friends that you met **one of over a hundred celebs** and have a photo that "looks" real to prove it.We took a lot of good pictures. I had a chance to sing onstage w/ the hardest working man in show business James Brown, was interviewed by Oprah, got in the ring with Evander Holyfield, talked with Larry King, got in an argument with Jerry Springer, had dinner with Wolfgang Puck, danced with Tina Turner, had a cigar with Don King and much much more.
This is really a great Las Vegas attraction and addmission is $10.
