This is mainly a question for the ladies, but the gentlemen on this board might also know the answer.

We'll be going to Las Vegas next spring. My mom went this past summer and saw a few items I might want to get, but she can't remember where she saw them; so I'm hoping someone can help me. These would have been in the shopping areas at the hotels.

1. In a couple of the stores, she saw a wall of magnets, with just about any kind of magnet about Las Vegas you could want - the kind you would put on a refigerator. My children would love these.

2. There was a small shop that had really pretty nite-lights - the kind a child would want. The front of them had something like a picture in a picture frame.

Does anyone know where these places are? Thanks so much.

I think there is a magnet shop at MGM located along the corridor when you walk in from the parking garage.

Sorry, I don't recall seeing a shop with the nite lights.

HSMom42,

NYNY has a magnet shop and many night lites on the upper deck as you enter from the Excalibur walkway. Not really a full blown shop, but a great selection of both....plus decorative receptacle wall plates. Also, a selection of magnets in a shop located on the right side of the Forum Shop Mall entering from the strip. I'm sure there are many other places, but these are the ones that come to mind.

The Rio has a magnet shop by the seafood buffet.

HSMOM42,
V is correct. The MGM has a store in the promenade from the Bally/MGM monorail that is devoted entirely to magnets. The Venetian has a shop located near one of the escalators to the Grand Canal Shops that has a good selection of night lights. I guess shopping with my wife for 22 years has turned me into a consumer maniac <LOL>

I saw a great magnet shop at the Las Vegas Airport. It was in the United concourse. Would that be concourse #3? Tom Casey

Tom, How about terminal D? The new one. I seen the magnet shop too, and there was quite a selection!

Jewelery stores are the only shops that my wife seems to have a magnetic attraction too! LOL
