The 2000 Adult Video News Awards
(or as some refer to this event - The Academy Awards of Adult Video ) will be held on Saturday Night January 8th at the Venetian Hotel
7:30pm - 9pm Cocktail Party & Hors D'Oeuvres
9:00pm - 11pm The Awards Presentation
(which in the past has included a performance by a well known standup comic)
11:00pm - dawn The wild post show party at the Venetian's CLUB 2K
This years show is being billed as the biggest adult awards show ever. Fact of the matter is, the show gets bigger every year and always sells out. Some of previous shows have been held at Caesars, Bally's, Aladdin, Riviera and Tropicana. The AVN show has been featured on the Playboy channel and Entertainment Tonight. If Penn and Teller are performing in town, you'll know where to find Penn Jillette on Saturday night.
The majority of attendees are in "the industry" since this is an industry event, but for those in town for the CES show that order early enough, you may be able to get a ticket.
Individual tickets are $ 180 each if you order before 12/1.

If you don't make the show but are in town for CES, you can always just hang out at the Rio and gawk.
