We're going to see this production on this trip. Got the special...dinner at one of the restraunts, get free tickets. Tickets are $30,$40, & $50. We get the $30 tickets for free, but can upgrade to $40 or $50.

Has anyone gone on this deal and if so, are the $30 seats good or would it be better to upgrade?

Carol, I'm not sure where the $30 seats are, but this is not a large showroom and there is no need to sit up close to the stage in order to see and enjoy the show. We had seats right next to the stage and they were good. But for you to spend an extra $20-40 to upgrade your seats defeats the purpose of the offer that includes dinner. By paying the extra you basically have now paid for dinner and you have paid full price for the show. I'd stay with the $30 seats.

Carol, I went to see the show and paid full price for the expensive seats. There are things that I wanted to see up close that might not be a priority for you. Although it is a fairly small showroom, I remember thinking I'm glad I didn't sit in the worst of the worst seats against the back wall. I think if you could pay $10 for a upgrade, that might be worth it. It is a pretty good show, so I would rather overpay for insurance, rather than leave wishing that I had paid 10 or 20 for an upgrade. Even though I would pay a little more, I doubt if you could really go "wrong" with whatever you choose.

Thanks all. Guess I won't pay the extra.

JMT -- And just what was it you wanted to see? Is this something Tim would want to see?

JOHN -- You will find a coupon in Showbiz, or any of the LV magazines they leave in your room or at the bell desk. Anyway, the deal is you purchase 2 dinners at any of 3 restaurants at the Stardust (Tony Romas - barbecue ribs/chicken - min. dinner order $20/person; Tres Lobos - Mexican - min. dinner order $18/person; or William B's - Steak/Seafood/ Pasta - min dinner order $25/person. Min. dinner order can include appetizer, entree, dessert, beverage & tax)

Reservations not required in Tony Romas or Tres Lobos. Call (702)732-6325 for show reservations & for dinner reservations at William B's.

Arrive for dinner at least 2 hrs b/4 showtime. It is your responsibility to make show reservations and to arrive at the Stardust Theater in time for the show.

Present the coupon to your server when you are seated. You will be given a voucher for your free show tickets at the restaurant. Each show ticket includes 2 free drinks and all tips.

We are going in couple of weeks and brother-in-law already made our reservations for Show & William B's.

Carol, first of all, you don't want to know what Joe wanted to see close up<G>
Secondly, Joe has a good point. The seats way in the back aren't too good. Why not pay an extra $10 each and insure you have a decent seat.

Just a reminder that the end is near for “Enter The Night” at the Stardust. The show fades away Dec. 27 when it is replaced by Wayne Newton later in January.

We took the default $30 tickets and were quite pleased. We had a semi-circular booth about 2/3 of the was towards the back, shared with 2 other people.

If you take a more expensive drink you only get one, but you keep the glass. We left ours behind, but noticed when leaving that a guy was handing out plastic bags for those who wanted the glasses.

Dinner at Tres Lobos was great. Good food, good service and reasonable prices. Be aware that if you have a drink at the little bar just inside the door, it does not count toward the minimum. However, the waiter assured us not to worry if we were a bit short on the $ minimum. One drink plus the Chile Colorado made the $18.

Well worth the visit, as the dinner alone was worth the price.
