Las Vegas' Hottest new nightclub will not open on schedule.

Originally scheduled to open the first weekend in October, the Venetian's Club C2K will not open until the end of October at the earliest.

The Venetian has scheduled "Headliner Entertainment" for this room begining next week and one possibile scenario is that the "showroom" portion of the club may open, even though the rest of the club will not.

Mark: Why am I not surprised to read this news of another delayed opening at Venetian....the real news would be if something opened on schedule!

Any news on who the headliners will be?

Hank Williams Jr. maybe? He has a history of being late for preformances or not showing up at all.

I think that a "Hank Williams Jr" occasionally appears in The Legends in Concert show a few doors away.

Andre-Phillippe Gagnon is supposed to "open" the showroom. For more info on him, check out my post "Danny Gans Part three".

I've also heard the name Engelbert Humperdink metioned for late October or November.

Andre-Philippe Gagnon premieres his signature stage show of his more than 300 voice impressions nightly at C2K.

Beginning Oct. 26, shows are @ 7:00 pm, with ticket prices of $45, $60, and $75 available through the C2K box office at (877)881-4C2K or (702)948-3007 The showroom is dark on Mondays.

The first "first-hand" comment I heard about C2K was that it was boring. I'll pass along any more when I hear 'em.
