   Don Rickles?
   Don Rickles?
First of all, have you heard if he's worth seeing? I read on one of these boards that Dangerfield wasn't very good in Vegas. Wondering if the same is true for him. Secondly, would we be able to make the last night of the show when we land 2 hours prior?

SR,
I've seen Don Rickles several times in Las Vegas. Don always puts on a good show. Now, back when we saw him he was performing at the Golden Nugget. Now he's probably playing the Desert Inn showroom, which is one of the few rooms that still has Matri'd seating.

IMO, good/great seats make all the different in the world for most shows, but especially stand-up comedy. If you decided to see DR and he's at the DI slip the Matri'd a twenty and request seats up front. A five or ten probably won't impress em at the DI.

Now those close up seats do come with some risk of getting picked on, but it's worth the risk.

Always liked Rodney, and saw him a few years ago at Bally's. The Bally's reserved seats we received were halfway back in the middle of the room. We were disappointed in this show. Our seats were too far back to catch the facial expressions, gestures, etc. And Rodney appeared to be going though the motions. I'd pass if I had the chance to see him again.

Do you have enough time to catch a show two hours after arrival? Sure, as long as you arrive on time. But if you're a little late you might have to check in at your hotel after the show. If you're a lot late, we'll.......

SR,
Sue & I have seen him twice, and look forward to seeing him again sometime. We have seen him at the Golden Nugget and at A.C. Caesars. Mark is right, tip and get a good seat, he may include you in his act, but it's all done in good fun. I respect him as a comedian, he knows his craft well, and he doesn't have to cuss every other word to keep his audiances attention.
Don Rickles is a class act!
I was amazed at the energy he puts in his shows. I mean after all, he ain't no spring chicken any more. But his humor is fresh and top notch.
