Hi all!

So sorry I haven't posted in a long, long time. I see that the site is coming along great! Congrats again! Well, I am going to see Bette on New Years Eve and I was wondering who was coming out to party in Vegas...?

Joe

JoeJr,
I wouldn't be caught in the maddness of Las vegas when the calender changes to 2000.
Your a young man, you like that sort of thing, as get older, I don't want the crowds, the noise, or the shear maddness of it all.
So I'll be home having dinner with a few old friends from long ago.
Let us all know though, how it goes @ the Midler concert. I'm sure it will be fun.

Joe: Part of me wants to definitely be there, but then (surprise!) common sense takes over <g>.

What a way to spend this NYE--at the Bette Midler concert in Las Vegas. That's great that you got tickets. We want to hear all about the concert and all about NYE in Las Vegas.

Glad to see you posting again. Don't be a stranger <g>.

So, which girlfriend are you taking to see Bette Midler? Also, you should have a backup plan on how you are going to get off the Strip when the show is over. Have you thought about that yet <s>?

Joe Jr.,
On my way to work yesterday, I heard our local weatherman report that he went to the Bette Midler concert the night before. He couldn't stop raving about her performance. He said it was more than just her singing. She gave an all around performance and even told a few raunchy jokes.
I'm sure you will enjoy yourself, even though the crowd on NYE can be a deterrent.

JJ,
I'm jealous. I'd love to see Bette. Hopefully it won't be as mad being that far up the strip.

I'm too much like the other old folks on here. Don't think I want to be in Vegas for this celebration.

D.A.G., Looking forward to your report. I bet she is fantastic. I'm Joe Jr.'s backup date. I don't think I have a chance though <vbg>.

Joe, I think the best way to get you and your date home after the concert is a BellTrans stretch limo. Of course you'll need to make a quick stop by a 24 hour Fatburger for a little sandwich, fies, and one of those awesome homemade chocolate shakes.

And don't worry about Dad. He's just jealous that he doesn't have any tickets. <VBG>

DAG, Oh and I was so looking forward to visiting Seattle <bg>. I only wish I could get away from business for awhile.

However, if and when I find the time to vacation, Seattle is one of my top choices. Will ask you for all the Seattle advice when I decide to go, okay?

Joe Jr., JMT has a good idea there. Wish someone would take me to Fatburger for french fries and a shake.

I wonder if limo service will be more expensive than usual on NYE. Just remember to have your finances in order. I don't want to hear that you didn't cash your check and you need money for this night <vbg>.
