   Harbin "Ice House"
A marvelous exhibition of Traditional Chinese ice lanterns will be coming soon. It will be located adjacent to the Fremont at Ogden and Third Street.

The "Harbin Ice Lantern Show" includes exquisitely detailed works of both modern and traditional Chinese art. When illuminated, the ice lanterns cast vibrant, glittering color.

Harbin, located in china's most northern province, has become world-renowned for it's ice sculptures and annual Ice Lantern Festival.

Admission to the Las vegas Harbin Ice Lantern exhibit is $15.

I'm not sure the downtown area is the right place for this type of exhibit. At that price I think a strip location may be a better place for it.

John, I'm not sure if at $15 a pop, it even has a place in Las Vegas. I plan to check it out though and see if it suprises me.

Lee>>"only in Las Vegas"!<< Ya know what's "not" funny <g>? Any change makes me feel old!! I remember when we first came here, there was only roller skating and now there is ice skating in Las Vegas.

John>>I'm not sure the downtown area is the right place for this type of exhibit.<<

I agree with you (now) BUT believe me when I tell you that something is in the works for Downtown and Fremont Street.

Gail, have you tried to explain to your kids about how skates had a metal wheel on the 4 corners instead of plastic wheels in-line...or what a skate key is?

Joe, I did explain that just the other day to a few little kids here at the motel. They told me the "old" roller skates are harder than the roller blades of today. I don't think so <bg>!
