OK, so it looks like I'm finally going to see this show! What should I expect? I haven't been going to many of these type of shows lately. This is one of those shows I always wanted to go and see.
Lee, It really is a treat You will not be ready for a nap after this one! An audio visual overload of a show. There is a "splash zone" I think it is the first 10 rows. They do provide a poncho, personally I liked "splash free". This show is very crowd interactive. They also pulled up audience members twice. If you like heavy percussion and performance art you will agree it is worth the price of the ticket. Even if that is not your fave it is really funny also. Enjoy
FYI I have heard it is wise to pick up tickets asap you are not "assigned" seats until they have cash in hand or run credit card through. I reserved online and picked up on thur. for sat. show. We had seats in the lower section.(12th -15th row, don't remember) Very good area!!

Kat, I'm even more excited about seeing the show now. Everytime, I'd here of someone going to see this and raving about it, I wanted to go. However, one person in our group always for some reason didn't want to see this show. So, I'd give in and pick something else. However, that will not be the problem on this trip. Friends have ordered the tickets for us so the 5 of us will go! <S> I also noticed there is a price differance for seating. I'm guessing the messy seats are the cheaper ones??? This is just one more reason, I'm looking forward to this Las Vegas trip more then any others in a long time! Thanks again for the review!
I'm still interested in any other people that may have seen this show!!!!!

If you enjoy people with their faces painted blue walking up and down the aisles staring at people, then it is ok. - Personally, I wouldn't give you 2 cents to see it again. Just my opinion. Wendell
Wendell, Sounds like I'm going anyway, but I'm glad to hear the negatives as well as the praise. I think any Las Vegas show will have it's fans and it's detractors. I for one hate Danny Gans, but most here love his shows. From the way you discribed the blue group, I am now even more curious then ever, and then with the others in our group, it will be interesting what everyone thinks! Thanks Wendell, honesty is a virtue!

Lee, I heard that Blue Man Group can be painfully loud (and this from a Woodstock generation-er!) They said you are offered ear plugs at the show. Friends who went didn't know about the ear plugs and their arms ached afterwards from holding up their hands to plug their ears.
Lee....We enjoyed the show very much, even took the lil' Cajuns to this one along with my Dad and we all enjoyed the show. Loud is one description, but I wouldn't call it painfully loud. We had seats on the right side near the back up high and it was still a good view from up there. I'd go see it again, the perscussion is unlike any other group, it is unique.
Ralph, I like drums, always did! It's the one thing that really stood out with the treasure island show Mystere! Hey if you want to have a cocktail or two, post here befor 4pm today, and we can meet somewhere for a beer or maybe two. I'm thinking either at the Haceinda (casino) or Sunset station! But I leave tonight and I won't have a computer to read a repl after that! Just pick a time and date and post, I'll do my best to be there, along with Sharon!
Well, I was disapointed with the show. I think I went with too high of expectations and I actually fell asleep twice during the show, drums and all. I guess I missed the point of wasteing all the paper and all the crepe papaer they handed out before the show started (it started late). Probably the best part of the show was people watching before the show began. People in the splash zone, putting on the plastic splash suits bacward and wondering why the hood is in the front! LOL I'm glad I went however, it's been bugging me to see the show, now I atleast know this isn't my cup of tea!
