Mandalay bay has a new exibit at thier shark reef. "Amazon Predators"
It's a fresh water exibit of the jungle rain forest ceatures that live in the Amazon.
Featuring Montoro Stingrays, Silver Arrowanna, Black Pacu's, Lima, Shovelnose, Red tail catfish, Parrot Cihlids, and Arapaima Gigas, the largest fish in the amazon (up to 14 foot long).
Shark Reef admission $14.95 adults, $9.95 childern, under 4 free
Open 10am till 11pm daily

If you like this kind of thing it is really a great exibit. Spent 3 hours here so the $15 was fine with me. Sent some friends and they were less than impressed. I will go again and see the new stuff!

I agree with KAT...we went their last year and I took my then 5 year old daughter...We loved it. The jelly fish tank and see through floor were what my daughter enjoyed best. I'm going to try and take my wife there when we go in Nov.

Of all the times I've been to Vegas, and I go often, I've never seen the exibit.
I now have it on my 'To Do' list for November too.

Lee, thanks for the offer (and I am working on the wife for future get togethers) however, we are going from Nov. 8th to Nov. 14th for sister-in-laws 10th anniversary. I would vote "thumbs up" for the Shark Reef as well. It was pretty interesting and I liked the area where you could actually touch baby sting-rays and tiger sharks. The jelly fish tank was neat too.
