Has anyone here ever eaten at Roberta's at the El Cortez? (Now be nice, I am asking only about the restaurant, not the EC!) We are thinking of going, as I seem to recall hearing some very good things about it.

I ate there several years ago. The food was fine, but the EC is so seedy I'd never go back. If you're looking for good food downtown at bargain prices, have you tried the Redwood Bar & Grill at the California? Nice room in an OK hotel with steak dinners mostly under $20....and a $12.95 porterhouse steak dinner (not on the menu...just ask for it) that is IMO one of the great LV deals. Even includes a nice hot apple dumpling with ice cream for dessert. =)
