OK, now we know where everyone's favorite meal (regardless of price) was, but where do you feel you got the most bang for your buck?

My best value would be the prime rib/salad bar special at Smokey Joe's coffee shop at Sam's Town for $6.95. While they're cooking your prime rib to order, you can help yourself to a small but very good salad bar. There was an ample choice of green salad fixings, fresh fruit, seafood salad, ambrosia and extra baked taters in case you wanted more than the one that came with your prime rib, and the prime rib was excellent.

Daisy, good topic. I guess I have to think about this one. I use the LVA coupon book and the entertainment book a lot. So when you get a 2 for 1, that is the best value that comes to mind. But, without the coupons, that's a tough one.

Daisy,
That prime rib sounds good. I have never been to Sams Town but plan on going there this time. I will be sure and go there hungry.

Snookie and All,

Also at Sam's Town (Smokey Joe's), we recommend their ham and egg special. Their ham steak covers the plate and is very tasty. Ask for a doggy bag in advance. We also agree with the prime rib.

Pasta Pirate, hands down, for us!
Now it's not the cheapest, but I can't recall better service (time & time again) from a resturant at that price level. Food served hot & fast, and very tasty too. Now, we've been going every trip now for over 10 years too, so people tend to remember us, and with that comes some special service, I'm sure!

Daisy,

Tuff call to make. I agree with Lee about PP. I'd also rate the Redwood Grill next door high on my list for their Porterhouse special. Not only is the steak good and reasonable, you get the relish tray, a fair salad, good baked potato, steamed broccoli with garlic butter and that warm apple dumpling with ice cream. I guess this would be my pick if I wanted someplace nice. Otherwise I might pick Jerry's nugget for prime rib or Arizona Charlies for breakfast or the western place South of town a bit that I can't think of the name of for breakfast.

Do they serve the Ham and egg special 24hrs at Sams Town?
Lee,
Where is Pasta pirate? Never heard of it.
I have a feeling I better wear some loose clothing to Vegas this time.

Snookie,

Ham and eggs are available 24 hours but the price may vary depending on the hour. I have had them morning, noon and night.

Snookie,
California Hotel/Casino, has the Pasta Pirate, located right off the casino floor, to the left of the cashier cage.

Snookie,
Sometimes trying to find something that is as good as a memory, is very hard to do. But can be quite enjoyable search too!
There are some dishes, I won't eat anywhere else but one place, because I'm tired of being disapointed trying it in other resturaunts.
