John Sr., There are only two German restaurants listed in the big yellow pages:

Cafe Heidelberg German Deli & Restaurant, 610 E. Sahara;

Swiss Cafe Restaurant, 3175 E. Tropicana.

Haven't eaten at either place so I can't give an opinion.

John Sr.: I have no idea about the quality of the food, but I did find an Oktoberfest menu for Gordon Biersch:

<<Gordon Biersch Brewing Co., 3987 Paradise Road, has unveiled its Oktoberfest menu.

The menu, available Oct. 1-23, includes an appetizer of smoked salmon with potato cakes ($8.50); entrees including sauerbraten ($12.50), sausage platter ($11.95), jaegerschnitzel ($12.95), beef rouladen ($14.95) and rotisserie chicken Vienna-style ($11.95). For dessert there will be apple strudel ($5.95).

The special Oktoberfest beer this year will be Fest Bier, a brew created by Gordon Biersch. It will be available from Oct. 1 until it runs out.

This year's Oktoberfest party, to be held from noon to closing Oct. 9 in the brewery's parking lot, will have music and lederhosen aplenty.>>

John Sr.: Hey, that's right about the similarity between last names.

I think the menu prices seem kinda steep. Whatcha think? Unless they come with the works, and it's a complete dinner, then that is *some* justification. But even so....

John Sr.: I'll post these as they crop up, although I have no idea of what the quality of food would be for Boulder Station. Sorry, I don't know the prices at this time....

OCTOBERFEST
September 30 - October 3 at Boulder Station,
authentic German bands, bratwurst, along with many choices of German beers.
