From what I've read, this is a city short on delis. Here's what I have come up with. Hope you get some comments on them.
Bagelmania, 855 E. Twain, New York-style deli features nine varieties of bagels served with lox or nova, sturgeon, sable, chub, herring, white fish, plain cream cheese. Sandwiches are mainstream deli: corned beef, pastrami, roast beef, ham & turkey. Serves breakfas, lunch, and dinner.
Bagels and More, 2405 E. Tropicana, good impression of a Bronx deli. Corned beef, pastrami, turkey, beef tongue, chopped liver, kosher salami, brisket of beef. Breakfast includes eggs, omelets, cheese blintzes, waffles, signature bagels served with nova lox, whitefish, chopped herring, and other condiments. Open for breakfast, lunch, and dinner.
Celebrity Deli, 4055 S. Maryland, traditional deli favorites such as corned beef, pastrami, turkey, and salami. Dinner entrees such as smoked fish, stuffed cabbage, brisket of beef, and Eomania steak. Baked goods include bagels, knishes, kugels, and danishes. Serves lunch and dinner.
Siena Deli, 2250 E. Tropicana, Italian deli. Specialties of the houes are the massive meatball sandwich and a Sicilian (square) pizza. Some sandwiches are made from sausage and peppers, prosciutto, mortadell, and Genoa salami. Cold cut, antipasto trays, and submarine sandwiches up to 6 feet long. Serves lunch and dinner.
