I was going to include this in my TR, but I was so impressed with the food, I beleive it deserves it's own topic.
Mon Ami Gabi, is part of a small chain (I understand like 9 or 10). I've never heard of them before, but I won't soon forget them. The restuarant is located inside/outside Paris Hotel/Casino.
Dinner for 3 $66 plus tip w/one cocktail each.
Ok, get passed the French thing. I hate when a Mexican waiter tries to act French and in a faux french resturaunt in the good ole US of A. He didn't see the humor, when I asked him what part of France he came from! I was rolling in the isles though! He did come around by the end of the meal, so we tipped well.
Now the food. Every employee I chatted with at Paris "the hotel" raved about the food. Seems while they where practicing for opening day, they offerd free samples to the employees. I have to admit they did not steer me wrong.
The Fritts as they call them are sort of like french fries/potato sticks/chips. Awsome! My beef, was excelent and not one complaint about the poulet (chicken) from Sandy or Sue. I urge you to try this place! Oh the bread is pretty darn good too, and they'll bring loaf after loaf....I know! <S>
They have outside seating, but it's on a request only basis (tip here folks) they where promissing 1 1/4 hr wait for outdoor cafe seating, or right away in the dinning area. I'm told the fountian show durinng dinner outside is a nice extra touch! This is one thing Paris did right!
I have much more inside stuff on Paris, to report on for my trip report. But this resturaunt info could not wait!
