Where can you eat & Gamble @ the same time
Ok, John kiddingly mentioned about having a pizza deliverd to his VP machine. So lets take this one step futher.

Where can you play VP and be served food?
I'm not talking fetching your own shrip cocktail, I mean be served at the machines.

These are the one's I know of:
1. Main Street Station, they have two tables with VP built into them in the Brew Pub, full brew pub menu.
2. Vacation Village, Arrowhead Bartenders will serve you hotdogs (even free with a $10 buy in.
3. Wild Wild West, at the bar (there is only one) chicken fingers and such fare.
4. Harrah's, sports book bar, wings & sandwiches & snacks.

any others??? Lets hear them!

Lee, you can get food served to you in the high limit areas of most casinos. On my last trip I was in the high limit vp area at Caesars. There was a lady playing the slots behind me. They rolled in one of those room service carts filled with food for her. She sat at the machine and ate dinner. So if you want to play in the high limit area, you get food service at your machine.
I think it would be cheaper to play the quarter machines and bring your own pizza<G>

John,
I don't get to hang out at the high roller area......they usually just say "move along son....nothing to see here, keep moving" LOL
If you ever see me walking around inside the high limit area....I'm either lost or loosing it! LOL

No, that doesn't count, because for it to be a real gamble, you have to have a chance of winning. I see the buffet as a no win situation! <S>

I've mentioned the Holy Cow on a previous post. They serve food at their bar where they have both .25 and $1 vp. There is also the brew pub at Monte Carlo that you can eat at the vp bar (they have a pretty good pizza!). I believe Sunset Station also has a brew pub with vp bar where you can eat. That's all that comes to mind!

At the Orleans, you can order off of the Mexican restaurant's menu at the bar just outside the restaurant. They have bartop vp there. ( I think the name of the restaurant is Don Miguels.)

(My first post here, have been a longtime lurker on Prodigy. I'm glad to see that there's still a place to get great LV information.)

Lee,
Since I have such a wonderful husband, I was able to eat at my machine one time. I was at a hot machine and was hungry, so Michael went to the snack bar and brought me something to eat. He got the idea from the lady at the machine next to me whose husband did the same thing. He really is a great guy. <vbg>

There are a number of bars/restaurants around town where you can eat and play VP. Big Dogs on the NW side of town has great food with at least 8 TV sets and lots of lousy pay VP.<g>

Randy,
We've been to Big Dogs and wasn't impressed by anything, other then the tee shirts. They had cute slogans on them and of course Sue had to have one! <s>

Glad to see you posting again!

Lori,
Your correct, I remember seeing that on one of my trips. There are bartop machines at Don Miguels in the Orleans.

Pam, I now relize I was all wet thinking there where only a few options. I never gave the local bars a thought. And of course the Holly Cow would do that too! Been a long time since I was inside though.

Hi Lee,

I was just there for the first time this week. I had the steak sliders and Kelly had the Cobb salad. We thought both were great!

RandyC,
If I recall the home brew was only fair at best. What did you think of the beer?

After grabing some lunch at the food court in Ceasers we located a row of .25 VP machines mixed in with the tables. So instead of lunch costing us $15., by the time we finished eating, Lunch cost $35.

Lee,

Just went to Big Dog's again. While I had the sliders again, Kelly had the garden pasta and says it was awesome. I still didn't have any beer,(doing the low carbs thing again) but their "local brew" was from one of the local breweries. I believe it was Holy Cow but I'm not sure because I wasn't paying that much attention. The VP was still standard crappy bar paytables.<g>

Lee,

For now it's scotch, bourbon, rum, or wine!
