   Bellagio Lunch Buffet
The lunch buffet at Bellagio has been receiving great reviews. At $12.50 it seems to be a bargain since it is half the price of the much hyped buffet at Summerlin. Has anyone tried this one yet?

John -

I had the Sunday Brunch at Bellagio in January, which I think is similar to its regular lunch. I have to say that I was not overly impressed. It certainly was higher than average buffet quality, but it was no better quality than Main Street Station or Mirage, IMO. And, I felt that the selection actually was a bit weak. A good, solid, buffet, but not worthy of special praise, in my view.

I agree with you completely, Mark. I've never been wild about the Steve Wynn buffets, so for me, saying that it is as good as the Mirage is faint praise.

The dinner buffet fetures nice shrimp, and O.K. crab legs (pre-opened) and oysters, but the quality of the other food is not exceptional, IMO.

I'd rather eat at MSS or Texas Station, but i have to admit I'm not a buffet fan. I will try Summerlin, though.

Yes, please try summerlin. I hear you, on the "I'm not a buffet fan" thing. I'm not either, but I was somewhat impressed with the spread and the small portions on the steam table.
But even that can be the old story of, things slipping a notch or two after it's been open for awhile.
I'd like to hear your comments about the Summerlin buffet!

Lee,

*I'd* like to hear my comments about the Summerlin buffet, too. Just too long between LV trips for me this time. Won't make it there until early 2000 at best.
