I will try to share with you from time to time places that I consider as well kept secrets. These are restaurants that most visitors to Las Vegas wpuld never hear about. Many are family owned places located in the outlying neighborhoods. If anyone has a comment on the places I post about, please give us your input. Also, feel free to post any "well kept secret places" you may have discovered. It is fun to get away from the strip and downtown and see the parts of Las Vegas that only the locals know about.

The first place I will reveal is a french restaurant located on the west side.
It is named Petite Provence. The address is 3715 S. Decatur Blvd. Dinners are about $20. If you want to get away from the tourists and have some excellent french food, give it a try.

Thanks for this, John. This is exactly the kind of post I am interetsed in, particularly non-casino restaurants.
