Joe & I were invited to Michael's by Ed & Irene. We gladly accepted <bg>!! Met Ed & Irene, and, Fred & Beth last night at 6 pm. Dinner was scrumptuous. Service was top-notch. And, the company and conversations were something never to be forgotten <g>.

Will post more later.

Gail, please do post more later. I'm sure everyone wants to hear about dinner at Michaels. It's one of the finest in Las Vegas. Come on Gail, don't keep us in suspense<G>

Well, I'm hoping that Beth & Fred will include Michael's in their trip report. I'll just post here the foods I remember.

We were seated at a round table for six. Every other chair was a high-back and a low-back. We had some fun with this one. I had a high-back which was perfectly fine for me however they weren't too comfortable for Irene and Beth.

Ed was an excellent host and very concerned what we thought of the foods. So I'll post here my opinion on all the foods/cocktails that I sampled.

Ratings: Excellent- 5
Very good- 4
Good- 3
Fair- 2
Poor- 1

Burgundy- 4
Budweiser-5 <g> (poured from a bottle into the glass)
Caesars Salad- 5
Shrimp Cocktail- 5
Shrimp Diavolo- 5
Veal Piccata- 5
Asparagus with hollandaise sauce- 4
Baked Potato- 4
Chocolate covered fruit- 5
Blackberries with cream- 2/1 (sour, not sweet like I remember from picking them in Canada on my summer vacations)
Vegetable Platter- I did not sample this but it looked beautiful. I did have some of the dip for the pita and pumpernickel bread which were delicious- the breads and the dip. I think the dip had poppyseed in it.

That's all I can remember for the foods. But as far as the company and conversation, I really enjoyed the evening.

Thanks Ed & Irene for inviting us. Superb service and food and company!!
