I see this restaurant so rarely mentioned I thought I'd bring it up. It's located just off the strip on Convention Center drive. Essentially it's just off Paradise.
It's an upscale Italian Restaurant that caught our attention from an in flight magazine. Supposedly, anyone who is anyone in Vegas dines here. We didn't see any stars while we were there. Then again, I wouldn't recognize one unless they walked up and told me who they were.
The menu is somewhat expensive but the service and food were well worth the price. I think it ran the two of us around $80 including tip. For Italian, this is on the expensive side to me. My dish was a Fettucini Portifino and had some excellent squid, mussels, huge scallops, and a few shrimp. It ran, I think, $35. I don't recall what Shelley had.
They provide valet parking so you'll never have to walk more than five steps to the door. Cozy, but not overly romantic atmosphere. Overall a very nice place to enjoy a meal.
