I know there is alot of talk on what to wear for dinner. My husband and I always like to look nice but are a jacket and tie mandatory in any of the restaurants and if so which ones? We are leaving this week and I'm not sure what to pack for the weather, casinos and restaurants, day and night. Is white acceptable since its after Labor Day but it is still hot? Any help would be appreciated

The weather for your time frame is mid to upper 90's for the high's and upper 60's for lows. White is now acceptable all year.

I have yet to find a restaurant in Vegas that is anything more than business casual. I'm sure there are one or two that are coat and tie but I have yet to find one.

MY biggest problem on my September trip was staying warm! I froze in a great many casinos. This is from a guy who sell air conditioning and likes it cold! There were times I sat at a table with my arms folded and fighting back shivering.
So if you intend to be inside a lot, a light jacket isn't a bad idea, but then you always have the places where it's too darn warm! I came home from Vegas with a head cold. Go Figure?
