We have tickets for the 10:30 Thursday evening Mystere Show at TI.
We want to have a nice Seafood dinner before the show and I "THINK" we have narrowed it down to those two choices.
Has anyone been to either one recently or at all? Which one has the better lobster tank? (I know, I know, the ones in Maine)
I hear The Tillerman is pricey but worth it for Seafood away from the strip and is more casual dress.
Obviously, Buccaneer Bay would be more convenient but that is not a concern, since we will be renting a car this trip (and we want to see more of Vegas than the Strip or Downtown). I think they are casual formal.
Price is not a concern either (could you biggie size that for the little lady that please, it's our Anniversary).
So based on quality, service and overall experience, which would you chose?
Or are there other places you like for Whole Lobster and other Seafood?

I ate at The Tillerman several times, although it was several years ago. It was very good. I do not remember anything about the lobster tank. As I recall, most people were dressed more formal than on the strip.
I think the strip has gone pretty casual in many areas. I ate at Delmonicos with jeans, T-shirt, tennis shoes, and baseball cap.
I would go with The Tillerman, given your situation. I'm trying out non-tourist seafood joints, and so far my favorite is Joey's Only, which is great food but not fancy at all.

We enjoy Buccaneer Bay, but have not had the lobster there. The food is good, the service good, and it's fun to peer out of the little windows at the Pirate Ships. We always made reservations for a time when the pirate battle was on. We haven't been there since they changed themes, so not sure what it would be like. It was quite an upscale restaurant, with prices to match!
