Hi!
Went by a place tonight on way home from Lake, and saw a place that JMT might like to try. It was called "Horny's Texas BBQ", and it was half a building, or storefront, shared with a Mexican Restaurant........a REAL Mexican Restaurant. I wouldn't wear a suit.........or drive anything fancy. It's on Lake Mead Blvd at Christy, about 4-5 blocks East of Nellis..............
Just FYI........thought you might be interested in the TEXAS BBQ part. I've never heard of it, can't recommend it, but it looked like one of those places that is either a wonderful find, or a real dump!

I don't know JMT enough to determine whether or not he'd go for a place called "Horny's."

I'll give it a try. It's not really in a part of town where I hang out. When I go, I'll be sure to give a detailed report here!

Here's another place for JMT to try ... "I Love This Bar & Grill" will be a Toby Keith themed eatery opening this summer at Harrah's ...Keith says he wants his place known for its fabulous food--great steaks, burgers, sandwiches and Southern specialties. In addition to the dining area, there will be a recording studio, dance floor, retail store and a stage where Keith will occasionally perform.

I have no idea if JMT likes Toby Keith, but we all know that great steaks, burgers and Southern cooking do rate with him.
