I finally found Pamplemouse, but I was on the Monorail making the turn from the Hilton to the Sahara along East Sahara Blvd when I found it.

So I was unable to go inside.

But the next evening we decided to do some fine dining at Pamplemouse but for some reason we got stuck inside one of the casinos and never made it.

Has anyone ever eaten there? Can you offer some comments because we have been hearing fine things about the restaurant for many a year. The prices are resonable and the food is damn good.

It's definitely not too impressive from the outside. It looks like an old house that has seen its better days smack dab in the middle of fender shops and other unclassy joints on East Sahara about 2 blocks from the Strip or so.

Any comments would be appreciated. I plan to give it a try this coming October. I sure hope they make good Martinis.

PS... A Pamplemouse is a French Grapefruit and I am almost sure I'm not spelling it correctly.
