Hi gang I don't know if any of you have ever used the coupons from the restaurant com site, but I just got wind of a special code, that is only good (I think) until the end of January. The certificates are good for a year, though. The way it works - most of the certificates are for $25 and cost $10. Each place has some limitation - sometimes must be $40 minimum bill to use the certificate, or use only at dinner time. Some only require $15 minimum, or a beverage purchase. But if you put in the code 89500, it knocks off 60%. So your $25 certificate costs $4 instead of $10. You then print it out yourself. I think there were about 120 restaurants, some are actually in popular locations! There's also links to a descriptive page for each restaurant. Again - certificate good for a year, but the code maybe only through Tuesday. Watch out, Joe - Hamburger Mary's is one of the listed restaurants!

I don't know what kind of deal they have going now, but here's my story...
So I was out partying tonight, and thought I'd better get home before Feb in order to get the coupons at the 60% off rate. It was about 10:30pm when I got home and got on the computer.
I went shopping at restaurant dot com and I picked 4 at Blackjack, 4 at Tillerman, and 1 at Carluccios for a friend a work. When I went to checkout, I noticed the 4 at Tillerman were free. They showed $0.00 for 4 coupons worth $25 each. So I went back to the list and found Rosemarys. It showed $10 each for the coupons, but when I clicked on restaurant and dining certificate details, it showed them at $0.00. So I added 4 of them to my cart. Then I started checking others. They all showed a price on the main listing, but when I went to the details, they showed zero cost. I started ordering 4 of everything that sounded half good to me. (4 was the max I could order of each. Some were limited to 2) When I tried a place called table 34, it showed them at $10 each. I didn't get those, and decided to check out while the getting was good. If there is any bad news in this deal, when I went to put in the discount code of 89500, it said that the code was expired. And with a little research I discovered the company is in the central time zone. My bad.
Bottom line, I got well over $2000 worth of coupons for only $50. I've printed up about 100 pages of coupons. I think I might have just finished my Christmas shopping for the year.
