   $350 a Plate
   $350 a Plate
Has anybody done any fine dining at a restaurant called Buchon (spelling?) in the MGM Grand?

We were looking for a fine dining spot for a future meal and chanced upon this place called Buchon.

While I was checking out the menu noticing the $350 per person pricetag a party of four was leaving the place, so I casually asked them how they enjoyed their $350 per person dinner.

They sort of laughed and said, "That was on the low side!" and they appeared to have enjoyed their meal but evidently not this present conversation.

I did notice that the same chef has a less fancy place next door which appeared to me to be more like a fancy tavern set up offering cocktails and small selections of what appeared to be very "fine dining" etables.

This less expnsive side is called something like "L'etier" or something similar.

Has anyone spent their first month's mortage (or their last) at this "exceptionally fine" dining place?

I read about this place and that pricetag of $350 per person. That's too much if you ask me. I don't mind spending a lot of money on a fine meal but that's just too much. At some point, we just have to say "enough!"

Actually their $250 meal looked better to me since I don't like onions. It's still out of my range.

When I read threads such as this (not Lee's answer) it certainly make me want to think about getting in line down at "Circle Park"..!!
I could not (and would not) even pay that much to have dinner with anyone of notoriety unless they were picking up the tab!!...$350 a plate (what about a tip?)....

Yea, How about that tip? I wonder if they still want 15% on top of that dinner for two?
