it's a 25 buck coupon for 3 bucks and most have a 35 or 50 buck min and no alcohol.there are a few high end restaurants listed where that should be no problem.i think envy was one of the restaurants listed.i also believe that you should not go to a restaurant just because you have a coupon.bad food is bad food even at 50% off.

I agree about that fine print. Most of the restaurant.com coupons require there to be two diners - in other words, even if you order enough as a single diner to meet the minimum they may have the right to refuse the coupon.

Not a problem for most of us, but something to know about.
Also many add on an 18% gratuity - so be sure not to tip twice!

I really don't like all of those restrictions. And the more restrictive they are, the more I like the Radio Shopping Show. They are certificates, not coupons. You don't have to show them in advance of a meal, there is no authorization phone call for them to make, you can give them to your friends, no minimum party, you don't have to tear them out of a book in the presence of an overlord, no minimum purchase, etc.

I feel dumb using LVA coupons because of the rules. I feel dumb walking in public too, but that's another story. But more so using coupons with a checklist of restrictions.

I guess we all have to figure out the restrictions we can live with. I like the convenience of shopping at my convenience rather than on someone else's radio schedule, and I like having a full year to redeem the certificates. I can usually find a dining companion within that year, so the 2-person minimum and minimum purchase haven't been problems, and I'm not bothered by turning the certificate over to the wait staff at the beginning of a meal - that way I won't forget it as sometimes happens at the grocery store <g>.

OTOH, I did feel dumb listening to rather repetitive conversations on the radio shopping show because I couldn't figure out any other way to find out what was on sale THAT day - which kind of leads back to convenience and picking restrictions we can tolerate. cool

I'm so very sorry if I am the one that led you to believe that the best way to shop on the Radio Shopping Show was to listen to the same boring thing over and over. I know you like it for your slots, but it isn't the way to shop. I don't reccommend standing around and watching everyone else order at the Burger Doodle, nor do I reccomend shopping that way at the mall. It sounds like a dumb idea for car shopping and any other form of shopping I can think of.

But since you are a fan of restaurant.com they have a sale for $25 gift certificates for $3. See the lovely fine print for details.

Apology accepted. Since apologies seem to be the order of the day, I am so very sorry that I don't know how to gamble or shop in the right way. Thank goodness I have a whole year to figure out the fine print in those restaurant.com certificates. laugh

DAG, just wanted to post a quick note here, I used one of the coupons from this site over the weekend in Maryland, it worked fine, with no hitches. I got $25 taken off our bill with my $3 coupon. You saved me $22. GOOD DEAL!
Thanks again!
