Well the 2008 Entertainment coupon book is out. I got mine yesterday, and I can't help wonder "what was I thinking"?
Almost all the casino resturants are out of the book. Very few higher end places are represented. lots of fast food and stuff I don't do on vacation in Las Vegas.
To be honest, I don't remember ordering this, but I must have????

I haven't gotten mine yet. I think if you register one, you are on an automatc renewal unless you read the fine print and learn how to rremove yourself.

I get the book but I find myself using the online coupons as much or more than the book.

I used zero coupons from this book on my recent visit, and I don't see the need to carry it along on my November trip.

Did you use any LVAs? I have used zero from that book.

The LVA is a little easier to carry around though, and are casino related. The entertainment book is a bunch of junk I'll never use with a few possibilities thrown in.

What about the American Casino Guide coupons?

I got that at a discount a few years ago, and used a few of the matchplays, the free drinks and hot dog at Barbary Coast, and the half price buffet at the Orleans.

Now that I hear the Orleans no longer offers a "fun book" I'm thinking of picking up another one for November. Especially if I find an end-of-year deal.

The american Casino Guide has a lot of decent information inside as well, like location of casinos other then LV.
As a tool it's a nice book to have. The coupons are gravy, if you can use them.
Personally, I'm growing tired of the coupons altogeather.

Yeah, I liked the info in the ACG, but feel like I have other ways to get that info. For me its all about the coupons. Its nice to get a free drink at a bar and not have to slip a $20 in the machine if I'm more in the mood to visit with my companions than play. So - I'm thinking about it.

I hope you and others can get some use from the ACG. I agree with Lee, I am finding coupons more of a pain then they may be worth. I do not forsee getting a book in the future as I almost feel like I am chasing coupon deals and not just going where I feel like going at the moment.
