   SW $99 Deal
   SW $99 Deal
There is a posting on another BB about a deal that SouthWest Airlines has. You can fly to or from selected cities for $99 each way based on a roundtrip purchase. The tickets must be bought by Sept 2 and you must fly before Sept 30. There are other restrictions. Las Vegas is one of the cities. Other airlines are matching the deal. I checked airlines that fly out of Manchester, NH and they are all offering the rate. Anyone got any spare time?? Its a great deal. Tom Casey

Just a bit of a clarification on the above post. Other airlines are matching the fare as long as they compete in the same market as Southwest. In other words, find an airport that Southwest uses! T.C.

SW had offer from providence to lv for $99 but had many stops...continental matched SW fares and has only one stop to LV and better overall flight schedules!

John,
SWA is good because they make the other airlines compete. The other airlines almost always seem to have less connections. I would love to see the new National come to Boston. That would keep all the airlines on thier toes.

Tom, National Airlines proposed fares into DFW do not seem all that attractive. Although they beat the standard Y fares, they don't beat the specials that run wild here in the DFW area.
