Airline Question
  Airline Question
Ok, I just got back from a really, really short trip to Vegas (trip report coming soon), and it was long boring flights, both ways.
My question is, how can I tell, or who do I ask, before i purchase the tickets, if there will be a movie on my flight.
Now I know the movie screen is a small on, and I know some of the seats stink for watching the movie too. I hate the cheapo head phones and all that. But truth be told, it helps the flights time pass quicker for me. (I can't sleep on an airplane!)
Is there a code I should look for when reserving a flight. Like on expedia, is there a special search for items like that? Can/do they know what plans show movise and which don't?
Thanks for any help or input on this subject in advance.

Hi Lee,
I'll bet someone can tell you a better way to do this, but...I go to the individual airline websites and through Flight Search or Flight Information I find my flight number and then choose to see details for that flight. I mostly use this to see what kind of aircraft a particular flight uses, I do not like smaller planes so I try to avoid them. Unfortunately, I can't tell you if you can do this from Expedia. I did find out my flight tonight has a movie on the ATL to LAS leg by getting the flight details from the Delta website. Now if I only knew what movie it will be. I, like you, can't sleep on airplanes.
Talk to you when I return and I certainly hope I helped you a little.

Lee, All you have to do is move to Nevada,
and you won't have to worry about what movie
is on the flight (vbg).

Patty,
You helped a little!
Now the last time I was on AA's site, they listed the movies that where playing in each direction you travel. But I haven't been there lately and even in there in-flight magazine, it doesn't mention any movies at all.

Dick,
I noticed a little smile when you said that! But every trip I think "boy, wouldn't it be nice to live in LV".
Of course, my liver probably wouldn't last too long! LOL

Hi Lee, I called National before our trip asking what movie would be shown on our flights, they were kind enough to tell me the titles and cast ,the only problem was there was no audio or video on either plane . So we just relaxed and enjoyed the service in first class with the $90.00 upgrade.
