As your all probably well aware being savvy travelers, NW and Delta are talking merger. I mentioned in another post prior to their announcement that the State of Minnesota lent NW 40m a few years ago to keep them in the state. NW was threatening to pull up stakes.
I stand corrected. NW borrowed 240 million and were also granted 100 million in consessions at Minneapolis airport in the form of gate usage.
The head of Delta has already gone on record to say the new headquarters will be in Atlanta and the name will be changed to Delta.
