   Resort at Summerlin Slot Club
Resort at Summerlin is offering an innovative twist to their slot club. They are giving cash back points for play on their slots, play at the table games, for purchasing a meal in their restaurants, as well as, renting a room. They have not published how many points lead to a comp, or how much one needs to spend to get a comp point.

I like the concept of having meals and hotel rooms included. I hope this idea catches on.

If anyone plans on a trip out to The Resort At Summerlin, you might want to try your luck at some roulette while out there, and get slot club points at the same time if they are still doing that. The casino is supposed to have the best roulette game in LV...single-zero wheels, and the casino edge on even money bets is reported to be 1.35%.

V,
Summerlin, has the single 0 wheel and $5 min bet too! WoW, never seen that before! I'll include more on this topic on my trip report. But Summerlin is winner! Worth the drive!

Lee: Thanks for the confirmation of Resort At Summerlin being a winner. I'll put it on my to-do list for the next time I get to LV.

Veronica,
I must admit, I was impressed with thte place, but we (I) got lost finding it. I've never seen that part of Las Vegas, there are some very nice homes out that way. Sue pointed out a couple that where even up to HER standards! LOL

Veronica,
Home age somewhere between 1 to 3 years would be my guess. We where lost for quite some time. I even asked for directions twice. Both times the people I asked had no clue, and sent me off in the wrong direction, I found out later.
We're not moving! <s>

We joined the slot club at Summerlin in August and they had a great promotion that awarded slot players additional cash every 15 minutes plus the players to their right and left providing they also had the slot club card inserted in the machine.

I am not a big time slot player so I don't know if this was a gread deal or not. I did not have the time to stay there too long, so we didn't manage to win a thing.

Did manage to put a five dollar bill in the slot receptor and got nothing on the first pull. Then discovered there was no second pull because we were playing a $5.00 machine.
We were just about ready to push the "Come Here Please Button" (CHPB) when we discovered our misteak.

Could have been embarrassing moment in Las Vegas #562 that week!

Lee,

Sue would probably like the homes on the lake out there. Lots are 6 figures!

Will800, I was the person that won embarrassing moment #562. I was wandering the casino at the Resort playing a few quarters here and a few quarters there. I decided to sit down and play, but the machine would not take my $10 bill. I DID summon help and found out I was trying to play a $25 machine with a $10 bill. I quickly grabbed my $10 and slinked away. I do think the Resort at Summerlin has the most polite and friendly casino staff.

Aside to Lee....I live in Summerlin. Might you have seen my house on your travels? LOL

Jeff......No she wouldn't! Trust me! LOL

Blossom,
If your up that way, I'm sure you have a lovely home! As I recall, there wasn't a bad apple in the barrel!
But we could never move to LV, I would need new kidney's & Liver, and Sue would need carpel-tunnel surgery. (from playing the poker machines)<S>

Lee, I kind of said that tongue in cheek. We do live in Summerlin, but we live on the other side of Lake Mead Drive. Our area is an adult community consisting of homes in prices ranging from the low $100,000 and up. We also look at the homes in the eastern part of Summerlin with just a little bit of envy.

Blossum,
I drove all over the place looking for the darn resort at Summerlin, I probably circled your house a dozen or so times! LOL Dummy me was looking for a big gawdy sign with flashing neon lights! LOL
Next time I'm out that way, I'll pay more attention to where I'm at, and not so much to where I'm trying to go. Maybe then, I'll see some more normal priced housing out that way. <s>
