I found this on the IGT website...

IGT will preview more than 30 dazzling new games at the World Gaming Congress & Expo in Las Vegas September 14-16. Well-known themes like The Addams Family, I Dream of Jeannie and The Pink Panther, plus a new video Wheel of Fortune game, head the list.

If all goes according to rumor, the new Video Wheel of Fortune will be first played in New Jersey.

In New Jersey and Mississippi, it will be the first multi-line i-Game slot with a Megajackpots big money progressive (nickel denomination only), starting at $100,000 paid in one lump. In Nevada it will be offered as a stand-alone bonus slot with a top jackpot of 50,000 coins.

The sounds went from 15 to hundreds and the monitor is the multi-line format on the sharp, high-resolution i-Game Plus monitor.

The stand-alone version will have a payback % range of 89%-94%; average hit frequency is every 2 spins-50%.

JMT,

A friend of mine works for IGT and she is very excited about the new slots they are producing (unfortunately, there is much less development on the video-poker side). She is especially high on the "I Dream of Jeannie" game.

Just want to say this!

I am not a slot player at all but I got hooked on the Odyssey interactive slots during my last visit to Las Vegas and I think they are going to have a major effect for the good on the bottom line of every casino in which they are located.

Anyone know how much one of these machines cost and do the casinos purchase them outright or lease them or what? How does that part of a casino operation work?

AND...... any one got any reliable info on how the money inventory is taken throughout the casino?

I wonder what IGT pays to the creators of these gimmicky celebrity slot machines? Seems simple enough considering all the dead or alive celebrities. Of course if it was sooo simple how come we didn

<<<Even South Park gets into the celebrity act, except it will be G-Rated--no Kenny getting killed, no swearing, no maiming. Darn. >>>

Yes Veronica, I was just thinking the other day....there's not enough violence when I play the slots! Gee, where's my head!

How about a Clinton slot machine. When you hit the jackpot, a young intern pops out and.....oh never mind.

I don't know how much the creators of these new machines get, but I did read that the inventor of the multi-line video poker machines gets $10 per day per machine on the floor. How much do you think that might be?

Blos: $10/machine/day? That's some serious income for the inventor.
