O.K. It's not Vegas-related, but with the current turmoil in Stock Markets around the world, the old question of whether you are 'investing' or 'gambling' comes to mind. not a day trader but invested in the market such as it is.still looking for my a$$ i lost last year and the market is now gnawing at bone.i gamble for fun and entertainment but hate to lose so i try to do it as best i can.

Vease, I often say I do my serious gambling in the stock market, but I don't have the intestinal fortitude to be a day-trader. I do love penny stocks<g>.

DAG, I think we all lost that same part of our anatomy last year! The funny (or pathetically sad) part is that my penny speculation account has recovered much quicker than my professionally handled retirement account.

This is a very sore subject around my house right now! I'm not a day trader at all either. But I recently have been offering suggestions on what looks good to me, and going against the advice of a professional.....well...everything is headed for the dumper! At current figures I'll be able to retire at age 131. LOL
