Hope the 75% video poker planned for the new Palms Hotel/Casino will include many full-pay machines. They are planning to market to tourists and locals so it should be interesting to see what becomes available. If management is smart, it will do the RIGHT thing and business will flock to the Palms doors. I definitely know I would!

Beth,

I commented on that before I got to this page. That does seem like an awful lot of video poker machines. But, all the better for us my dear. I can't imagine them putting in that many and NOT having at least a portion of them be full pay. We will wait with baited breath until it opens.<g>

If the Fiesta is any indication, I can't imagine Maloof not having some full pay vp machines. If he wants to cater to the locals as well as the tourists, he has to offer a good payoff because the locals have become more knowledgeable about video poker in the past few years. Maloof has always done his research and I'm sure he will have a top drawer establishment.

They will grab a lot of business from the Rio if they do. What about the Gold Coast? Do they have a lot of full pay VP? If not, they could lose some business also.

Gold Coast has a lot of full pay VP, many quarter machines, and I saw some 50cent DB also.

I only hope Mr. Maloof took a slot card printout with him when he sold the Fiesta .. I would really like to get an offer to stay out at the Palms for casino rate.

Oooooo,
Daisy, I like the way you think!
I would get offers from the Fiesta all the time, but it was so far away from the strip, we never even thought about using them. In the last year, we haven't even stoped in much.
