Wayne,
I guess everyone has a variant of some sort of money manegment plan. I remember when I wouldn't even let the machine store credits. I wanted the money in the tray. I felt this helped me, (as in the machine didn't know how much, ahead I was). But in truth, it did help me on those slot machines, but in a diffent way. It slowed down my play while I fed in all those coins. Less exposure to the house edge, was less I lossed.

Where in AC are these coinless VP machines? I don't visit regularly, and there are some casinos in AC I haven't been in for a long time.

Just returned from LV and a visit to the newly opened GVR which has both ticket and coin machines. On the coin machines, I waited 12,15 and 25 minutes for handpays. The tickets were a breeze both in taking them to the coin cage and putting into another machine.
Different strokes for different folks but I'm now all for the ticket machines.

I wonder if a possible solution would be to make them all a choice machine. Like, when cashing out you where prompted "coin or ticket" I see this as a great way for everyone to get what they want. I also see it as a great way to deal with a PO'd person waiting for a fill. As they are all fired up, the slot tec can simply say, that is why they offer the tickets on all the machines as an option.
Just reading the replys, it seems there is no clear 100% way to go to please all of us here.
