I saw this game at The Cannery a couple weeks ago. Seems like a game called Boston Poker I saw at the Argosy outside Cincinnati.

THE PLAY:
Players place a wager on all 3 games according to the minimum/maximum. All bets must be equal

Dealer will deal each player 3 cards and 4 cards to himself. After the players review their 1st game (3 card poker), players have the option to take back their last wager (7 card poker), or let it play.

PLAY 3 CARD POKER:
Your first game is 3 card poker. Based on your first 3 cards, make a pair or better to win.

PLAY 5 CARD POKER:
The dealer exposes his first 2 cards, your 3 cards and the dealers 2 make your 5 card poker hand. Make a pair of 7's or better to win.

PLAY 7 CARD POKER:
Finally the dealer exposes the last 2 cards, now you're playing 7 card poker. Jack-high, two pair or better to win.

The pay table was printed on the table and I didn't get it.

Senator - seems like I saw this being played in Costa Rica (on the travel channel) the other night. I didn't understand it then and I am not sure that I do now???? Sounds kinda interesting though. Wendell

They used to have it in Vegas at the Hard Rock. My husband loved it, but it had a different name. Next time we went back (2 + years ago it was gone). This summer friends went to Atlantic City and found the game. Called us and when we went back weeks later it was gone. Seems like the house doesn't have the edge on this game.

I know we didn't see it in April in Vegas otherwise we'd have been at that casino the whole time. Because each hand has 3 bets, you end up being a higher comp person, but there is less risk since you don't necessarily loose on 3 bets.
