This may be off topic but does anyone have any idea of there are any guidelines regarding the amount of chips that are typical to set up the "bank" at each game in the casino.
And how does each casino determine the amount of chips to open the casino with? DOes the casino management determine that or is it set by the Gaming Commission?
When a casino has a $5,000 chip made (for instance), does the casino have to back up that chip with $5,000 in cash?
Who regulates the manufacturing of chips and what does it cost to buy the chip per chip?
What regulations are followed when a casino goes out of business regarding the chips currently not in the casino?
Someone once told me that it is actually illegal to remove the chips from the casino even if they represent today's winnings! Any truth to that?
Are the colors of the monetary values of chips standard throughout the industry?
What is the most valuable chip among collectors and is there a Chip Collecting web site?
Has anyone ever made a transparent, colorless chip?
Is it true that tiny computer chips are now being "built" within the chips themselves?
Does any casino anywhere have gambling tables that can read the chips?
Has anyone ever made counterfit chips?
Has anyone ever made a chip out of potatoes?
Serious stuff here, so I'd like to hear from anyone who is knowledgeable about the subject.
In the meantime, I intend to do some research.
Last question...... Where do they manufacture slot machines in the LV area and do they offer tours for the general public?
And since I asked that question ..... Where in LV is the warehouse that builds the magic tricks for the major LV magicians? I have heard about it but I have never seen it.
Thanks, Will800
