My dad, whom most of you probably knew if you went to LV in the 50's and the 60's, taught me that only stupid people can call other stupid people - Stupid.

So I guess I qualify.

I play a lot of Blackjack. Years and years worth of Blackjack, and I am thoroughly convinced that stupid people throughout the world go out of their way to find me and the other stupid people who are playing at "my stupid table".

In fact, they will stand by my table full of stupid people and wait for the stupid person who looks the smartest to give up in rejection and open an empty seat.

Let me be a bit politer here and use "less than smart" otherwise some of us may be offended.

I am firmly convinced that "less than smart" people don't have the slightest idea of what "BASIC STRATAGY" is. And even "Lesser than smarter" (a degree lower than stupid) players say it doesn't work.

No argument in the world will ever convince me that these kind folks have never seen the inside of a mental institution. (Politely stated.)

I will admit that I do play Blackjack useing Basic Strategy as my Bible. I never vary. It is against my belief to do so.

ANd I have to admit that I am one of those Blackjack big mouths who politely tell others who don't know Basic Strategy that they messed it up for the whole darn table; because when they don't hit a 15 against a dealer's facecard, they usually give up the six that enables the dealer to get a "21".

Take that as an example only but is a lot more to this that should be said but I hate to offend, and "offense" is more than likely a necessary ingredient in this scenario, so I'll leave that for the offensive book I plan to write someday.

I play Basic Strategy and usually win providing everyone at the table is playing the same, but I consider myself to be a Stupid player because I seldom leave when some other stupid person at the table is messing up the game.
