I went to Hooters a few days ago. While visiting the slot club, I saw a poster for a new promo they are doing. The Grand Prize is a 1 year lease on a new Dodge Truck. Never mind the jokes about a Dodge or even a truck. A one year lease?

I guess I should have read the poster and found out what the second place prize was.

Second Prize is a two year lease.....

JMT, our local radio stations are giving away stuff like this all the time. People get excited about it. They basicly loan you a car for a year! LOL But you better not dent it!

...or put too many miles on it, or wear out the tires, or forget to change the oil and have documentation, or have wear and tear on the seats or carpet, or do any modifications, etc. Way too many rules for my taste. But leases are popular. I just hope it isn't a trend.

I've noticed fewer car slot carossels in the casino's. We use to enjoy running a couple of bucks through the carossels in Monte Carlo and joke about having to drive one of the beemers home and waste our airline tickets.

For that matter every time I walked by I'd drop in the coins from my pocket. You can't even do that anymore as the machines don't actually take coins, only bills and tickets.
