Lead in the poker chips! That's right folks, they have been tested and have come out poorly in those tests. Paulson, a major chip manufacture, who's chips where tested recently all exceeded fedral limits on lead, over half of them by 160 times the allowed amount! YIKES.
But have no fear....so long as you don't injest them.
The chip manufacture released a statement saying the chips are safe and in normal use pose no health threat. they went on to claim the chip was distroid to get those test results, and they are continually lowering the lead content. Todays chips have only trace amounts of lead.

Also, these chips are used in all of the MGM properties.

Well, when I first heard this story, My thoughts where..."Probably made in China" but no, in our favorite city Las Vegas.

I guess I'll have to give up my custom of, licking my chips for luck! LOL
