From PRNewswire....Boyd Gaming hit the jackpot in the 2007 "Best of Slots" competition, Strictly Slots magazine's 7th annual survey of slot players from coast-to-coast.

Boyd Gaming's 17 properties received a total of 185 awards in this year's polling, including 65 first-place finishes. Leading the pack for the Company was Sam's Town Las Vegas, which finished first in 24 of 36 total categories in the Las Vegas Locals competition, including the coveted title of "Best Overall Hotel Casino."

"Since 1979, no locals casino has done it better than Sam's Town," the magazine wrote in its October edition.

The Company's Downtown Las Vegas properties also posted an impressive performance -- Main Street Station received 33 total awards, followed closely by the Fremont with 28.

Borgata received the most overall awards of any Boyd Gaming property, with 34 awards, including "Best Overall Hotel Casino" in Atlantic City. In Louisiana, Sam's Town Shreveport won 33 awards.

I can see WHY Sams Town is voted the best. It's certainly got to be the most profitable!! smile
Last night four of us had a very good dinner at Billy Bobs, and four of us proceeded to lose every bit of our gambling budget for the evening on everything from poker to blackjack, to dollar vp, to quarter vp, to nickel, and yes, even the lowly penny slots! It was indeed a bloodbath........so prepare to buy more stock!!! (I would, but I don't have any money left)
