VSS Enterprises LLC of Las Vegas announced today that it expects to close the deal on the purchase of the Showboat by the end of this year. Harrahs has been trying to sell it ever since they bought it. VSS is a new player in Vegas and wants to expand its holdings to possibly a Strip property too. The CFO of VSS is the former CFO of Primadonna Resorts inc. VSS is looking at two other properties, one an existing Hotel/Casino, and another one being a new property.

It took awhile to respond to this note, but, this just seems like a bad location. We visited one time and even the parking garage gave us the willes. I would not want to be there at night.
Also it seemed every machine we played we had a coin jam or some other problem. Sue & I finally just gave up & left.
