The Bellagio Gallery of Fine Art is under an expansion to Double its size. It will increase from 1250 Sq ft. to 2600Sq ft. Steve Wynn says the popularity of the gallery has exceeded expectations. They expect to have 800,000 visitors this yr. The capacity of the artwork will increase from 28 pieces to 60 when it opens Aug 1st.

John, When we were there last week, there was a huge line waiting to get inside the art gallery. If anyone plans to go, I advise calling Bellagio ahead of time and making reservations. You can pick up your tickets at your leisure, and just show up at the appointed time. Lee Ann
Lee Ann, everytime I have been there the lines have been long. It is a popular attraction. The Russian Treasures at the Rio were a hit also. Looks like there is lots of room in Las Vegas for culture. This town has it all<G>

Carrie, I would think that there are probably long lines whenever you decide to go, but my guess would be to try to go later in the evening. You can reserve tickets in advance over the phone, and then you can pick them up at your leisure and just go to the gallery at the appointed time. Gallery hours are 9AM to Midnight, seven days a week. The last admission is at 11:15 PM. If you are a Mirage Resorts guest, you can reserve tickets 90 days in advance. If you aren't staying at a Mirage Resort property, you can reserve tickets 28 days in advance. The price is $12 per person and includes a audio handset that describes the works of art that are on display. The telephone number is 888-987-6667. Ask to be connected to the art gallery boxoffice.
