Playboy Enterprises wants to enter the gaming market. They have plans for up to 10 new Playboy themed casino resorts, with one definitely in Vegas (Hurray!!!) The Las Vegas one will have about 1000 rooms, and will be built East of the Strip, but not more then walking distance.
Visitor count increased 10% in April compared to last yr. City wide hotel-motel occupancy level was 91.8% in April. The LVCVA says that the visitor count has been climbing steadily since Sept of '98. The percentages of increase every month gets bigger compared to last yr.
New Brewer magazine has praised the Monte Carlo Brew Pub, and ranks it the second largest brewery west of the Rockies. Its the seventh in the entire nation in terms of production. Its also one of the largest breweries in the nation. In 1998 it produced 99,200 gallons of Beer.
Paul, that's good news. I used to be a Playboy keyclub member. There was a club in Cincinnati and we went there in the 70's. The concept could work in Las Vegas if they do it right and do it with class. I like this idea. Hope they have full pay vp machines. AHHH, I can see it now. Me at a full pay vp machine being served by a bunnie cocktail waitress.<G> I wonder if my wife (Linda) will go for this one<G>

Just a little more, there was a special on satellite a couple weeks ago on the "New" playboy Bunnies, and their "new" look. The costumes generally look the same, except a little more of the "RIO" look, if you know what I mean [img]http://www.talkvegas.com/ubb/smile.gif[/img] ..
Playboy Bunnies in the Casino! It was hard enough gamblng at the Playboy in Atlantic City with the bunnies walking around. I guess it's better then all the free drinks to take your mind off losing.
