I Want to ask if any one in Vegas at the time felt these? Our local paper had a breif....very breif artical on 2 earth quakes at the California/Nevada border. One of them a 6. something and the other a 5. something. They claimed they where felt as far away as Las Vegas. The story was in Tuesday mornings paper.

Lee , officially they were 5.3 and 4.9, with bunch of after shocks through Monday, with Mondays at 4.0 to 4.9 area. I talked to some people who were on the top floors of the Bellagio and Treasure Island that said they felt it, but I didn't feel anything from any of them. The nearest one was about 137miles from here.
Thanks Paul, We've had a few earth quakes here in PA, but not of that caliber. When I read the news snipette, I thought someone else would report on it. But I guess it's just not that big of a deal. Are the hotels built with any kind of concideration for earth quakes in Vegas? I don't recall it being hot bed of activety in LV> Lee-PA
Lee, You probably don't remember, but Fred got one of his royals in LV at the "exact" same minute they registered an earthquake in the city. I was convinced it must have been because the machine was thrown off kilter.<vbg>
No Beth, I don't remember that, are you sure it wasn't the other way around, and it was when Fred got that royal, it upset the Royal flush gods and things started to shake? <VBG>
