New 2000 Entertainment book
  New 2000 Entertainment book
Special Thanks to Blossom!

It looks real good!
Wasn't sure where to post this, because the Entertainment book covers entertainment, dinning, even lodging, movie rentals and a bunch more.
So I figured, yes, but it's also NEW! LOL So I'm going to post an overview here.
Some old favorites are missing Pasta Pirate, Redwood Grill, Second Street Grill, and some strange additions have been added. Like Wild Wild West under fine dinning?
The airline coupon changed, but discounts are still available on Continental & and now Northwest. So that looks like a nice deal.
Under Casual dinning, I didn't notice too many changes from last year. Stations Buffets are widely covered in this addition.
Carry-out portion, I never make use of, so it looks the same to me.
Car rentals Avis, National, Hertz, and Alamo. I think it's the exact as last year.
Lots of movie coupons! Wet & Wild, Desperado Coaster out in Prim, Omnimax at Caesers, and the usual show coupons at Tropicana & the Riv. & Golf discounts.
And a bunch of merchandice coupons that only a local would use.
For the price, it's still a bargin IMHO.

LEE: I have never purchased one of these before. What is the cost and were to purchase. Would a 3-4 times a year visitor to vegas get their moneys worth. We usualy stay 6-12 days each trip.

Lee, I am sorry to hear that three of my favorites are gone from the book. The Second Street Grill, Pasta Pirate and Redwood Grill are some of the best dining in Las Vegas. Since these restaurants did not offer discounts in the last LVA coupon book, it looks like they have decided not to offer discounts anymore. I'll have to reassess the value of the book. Without these three, it may not be worth it to me.

And Kizzy, yes the book is worth it in your case. The cost is around $30 and you will save that much when using it just twice. Since you would have the opportunity to use it more often, it would be something you should look into. Especially if you like any of the restaurants listed.

Kizzy,
Yes as John already mentioned it's worth it for me, and if your making that many trips, for that amount of time, it would be a fair guess you'd get your money's worth out of the book.
I'm told you can order any entertainment book from any entertainment office.
I useully try to purchace mine from a charity in Las Vegas. Nothing like helping out the comunity of my favorite city!
Localy all the book stores sell the local issue around my home, so I'm guessing the same applies to LV too.
There are just a couple of options.
Cost? About $30, plus shipping if you order it.

John,
In the dining section, I'll try to post all the up scale resturant that are honoring the book this year. But it will have to be another night.

Jeff,
NO....LOL
I feel all buffets are bad, so how can there be good buffet coupons, unless they are upgrade coupons from a buffet to a dinning room coupons! <VBG>

I'll type out a list and post it under dinning when I get a chance. You all can deceid for yourselves, what's a good deal.
