Phil Ruffin , somewhat new owner of the Frontier is in negotiations with an Unnamed source regarding purchasing the Frontier and adjoining 17acres to build a yet to be named $900 million resort.

Sounds like that could be good news for that area of the strip. Hope it does happen. Keep us posted of any further information concerning this mega resort.

Paul, with the Frontier's location, I guess it would be prime for someone to level it and build something else. With the success that other properties have had by doing this, I think the Frontier is a good candidate for the wrecking ball.

Yes, that is a prime location,, I think that they would have to demolish the Frontier too, which probably would come down fairly easily. All that I know as of now, is it is someone not in the gaming business that is talking to him. Will let you know as I hear more.

On my past trip, we stoped inside the Fronteir, and there really isn't any reason to go inside the old place. It needs work and plenty of it.
What ever happened to all the money the new owner was going to put into the place?
