Frank Marino's in the public eye again. (seems this guy? is doing a great deal of good things for the Las Vegas area)

Frank Marino, who stars in the "an Evening at La Cage" show, at the Riviera, recently ran as a participant in the American Cancer Society's "Women's Power Walk Against Breast Cancer" raising thousands of dollars and making it on "The Big 3" TV affiliates in Las Vegas.
He said in a backstage interview, "I did it to fight breast cancer for the American Cancer Society. They called me up to do the benefit. I don't know why they asked me to do a benefit for breast cancer, because the closest I've ever come to a 32B was at Bingo. Channel 3,8,13 were there to cover the news story. We ran against Alyson McCarthy and Cathy Rey from channel 13 and we won. We took photos and one turned out beautiful. It (the race) was held in the parking lot where the old Landmark Hotel was standing 10 years ago. It's hard to beleive how Las Vegas has changed. It seems like every week some charitable organization calls me to help out and I love doing it all when I can.
"Seriously though" breast cancer is an issuse that touches almost every family at some time or another. I've performed at cancer benefits in Orange County. Men do get breast cancer as well although it is much more rare then the rate that affects women (*Lee-PA*note, but has a higher rate of death because it's often detected too late)). If I wasn't performing in "La Cage" I would have been a physician, so I'm glad that I can still help with health related issues"
